Lori Tonak has been involved in the agriculture industry and agriculture education for the better part of the past three decades. She currently acts as a Farm Business Management Instructor at Mitchell Technical Institute where she works individually with farmers and ranchers to assist them with the financial management of their operation. Teaching two high school AFNR courses online, along with being a Perkins Director for the Paragon Ridge Consortium, keeps her up-to-date on secondary education issues.
Prior to these positions, Lori was an agriculture education teacher and FFA advisor in Kimball, Tulare, Woonsocket and Artesian. Lori has also worked as a state dairy inspector for the SD Department of Ag and with the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. Lori grew up on a dairy farm in Northeastern South Dakota and received an agriculture education degree from South Dakota State University.
