NFRBMEA Rep, National Council:
Josh Tjosaas

My wife Alyssa and I live on a small farm near Wolverton, MN about 20 miles south of Moorhead. We have two registered quarter/paint horses that she shows on the MN Paint and Pinto circuit and we both show at the WSCA circuit in Minnesota. I am also a MN WSCA and MN 4-H judge, which keeps me very busy on the weekends in the summer.

I graduated from Long Prairie/Grey Eagle High School and the University of Minnesota. I began teaching high school in Hector, MN at Buffalo Lake-Hector High School in 1999 and taught high school agriculture as well as serving as the varsity girls basketball coach for 12 years, including a state tournament team in 2010. I am the all time winningest girls BB coach in BLHS history with over 100 wins.

I moved to Moorhead FBM in June of 2012 to replace Greg Tullis. My teaching load consists of approximately 65 farm families in primarily Norman, Clay and Wilkin counties.

My wife and I also have two house dogs, Jente and Boston. My wife is a LPN at Essentia Dermatology Clinic in Fargo, ND.
