My name is Tina LeBrun and I have been a Farm Business Management Instructor for South Central College since January 2009. My office is near New Ulm, MN and I cover parts of Nicollet, Brown, Blue Earth and LeSeuer counties.
I was born and raised on a dairy farm in south central Minnesota. After high school I went on to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where I graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture Studies and Dairy Science. After graduation I went back home to the family farm where I have remained on the employee roster since. Early in my farm management career I completed my M.Ed from the University of Minnesota. After completing all my academics I married a farmer, so all that education apparently went to waste!
Currently, my husband Kyle and I live on a farm near Lafayette, MN. We have three children: Colton (3), Regan (2) and our newest addition, Rory. Not only do our children keep us moving, but we also have a herd of registered Charolais beef cattle we raise. We are both actively involved in my familiesí dairy farm and cropping operation so weekends and holidays are generally spent farming.
Up until three years ago Kyle and I spent all summer riding motorcycle, however now you can find us chilling to cows and children. As our bikes gather dust in the barn we hope someday to get back on the open road.
