June 11 - 15, 2000

NFRBMEA Members, Friends, and Guests:

The Agricultural Business Management instructors of Oklahoma want to extend an invitation to you to “Share the Spirit of Oklahoma”. Enid, Oklahoma will be the site of the 28th Annual NFRBMEA Annual Conference. Your conference coordinators have worked with many partners and the Enid Convention and Visitor's Bureau to assure that your visit is most memorable. Please make plans to attend.

Enid is located in the heart of North Central Oklahoma. Enid is approximately 80 miles northwest of Oklahoma City, or 95 miles southwest of Wichita, Kansas, or about 98 miles west of Tulsa, Oklahoma. These cities are serviced by major airlines. Enid's Woodring Municipal Airport is serviced by Big Sky Airlines. Big Sky has direct flights to Enid available from both Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado. Round trip connections to these destinations start at $88.00 and $190.00 respectively. The official travel agency for our event is Travel King in Enid. Feel free to give Barbara Cink a call at 1-800-749-0440.

Our theme “Share the Spirit of Oklahoma” has spilled into the conference agenda. Your conference host committee has put together a wide variety of speakers, tours, and entertainers which highlight the pioneering spirit of our surrounding communities. The program is family-oriented with time available for personal endeavors. Enclosed you will find a draft of our agenda. Don't forget about the annual "Story Telling" Contest.

Please take note of the tour information. You and your family will not want to miss seeing the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Oklahoma National Memorial Site (formerly the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building), Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma City's Bricktown and Canal, the Oklahoma City Omniplex, and much, much, more.

Act Now! The committee recommends that you make your hotel reservations early. We are looking forward to seeing you in June.
